Britta is a highly accomplished chartered architect with over 20 years of expertise in planning, construction, and project management. Her career in the construction sector commenced as a technician in 2002, followed by formal education at the FH Aachen – University of Applied Sciences, where she obtained her degree as a Dipl.-Engineer of Architecture.
Her professional journey in Germany encompassed a range of roles across diverse architectural practices, where she participated in projects in the commercial, public, and private sectors, overseeing them from their initial planning stages to completion.
Due to her extensive technical detailing skills, she enjoys the challenge of finding unusual solutions and solving problems.
Since joining RTK in 2014, Britta became an Associate Director in 2022, where she enjoys working on various project types throughout all RIBA Plan of Work Stages, being largely involved in the larger residential projects.
Her passion lies in harmonizing contemporary architecture with heritage elements, creating aesthetically rich and contextually relevant features, fusing design and construction in a way that resonates with the surrounding environment.
Outside her professional life, Britta enjoys horse riding in the countryside or walking the family dog with her husband to the local pub for occasional social gatherings with friends and family.
